Common of Omaha IGNORED Me for Weeks

I was paired with Common of Omaha through Costco's mortgage program. The agent I was assigned to presented me with a very bonny offer for a refinance on my mortgage. After getting my application in, this agent ignored me on many different occasions. He even went on holiday for a calendar week and did not accept the decency to inform me, nor pass me onto a colleague who actually had time to work with me. Emails and telephone calls were continuously ignored. All of this occurred during the time I was desperately trying to get a rate lock in, but his delays eventually caused me to lock in a college mortgage rate with a lower lender credit two and a half weeks later.

I took my grievances to Costco and Mutual of Omaha, but they decided to do nil for me other than a mediocre apology and a pathetic $500 refund, even though this horrible experience volition end up costing me thousands of dollars over the life of my loan. Mutual of Omaha deserves naught stars or less for the experience I went through. I have no thought to this mean solar day why I was ignored... it was equally though they were purposefully trying to delay my charge per unit lock so that they didn't accept to requite me the offer that was originally presented to me. You should exist aback of yourselves. Practise better!


On hold for AN Hr

I have been on agree for AN HOUR waiting to ask a question well-nigh an incorrect charge on premiums. The automated response of "we are experiencing higher than normal call volumes" does not serve customers and does not excuse poor service.

MOH from bad to worse

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage seriously lacks in customer service. The original process with the loan officeholder was rocky and advice was defective on their cease. Every time I spoke with the officeholder and gave explicit instructions, things were obviously missed. I started conducting my business in writing because of this. In improver to having to pay extra to extend the lock (was NOT communicated to me and they were responsible for the filibuster in their underwriting), the officer messed up the loan amount at the closing table and blamed me (I had written proof he was wrong and he but 'shrugged' it off as a 'whoops'). He conceded and simply said "I estimate you're just going to give me a bad review". A person purporting to be quality assurance calls me to inquire nearly my experience and I factually told her. The mortgage officer then sends me a nasty gram saying I shouldn't attain out to others to handbag on him. Turns out it was some kind of office politics I was in the eye of information technology...completely unprofessional. Ultimately, I did go my loan airtight, only had to pay extra to extend the lock (was their fault) and I got a loan corporeality less than what I applied for (their mistake, absolutely).

One time I closed the loan, the client service became worse. Their loan servicing is admittedly atrocious. I became aware, very quickly, they over estimated my escrow closing needs by double! They so erroneously sent a refund check to my property insurance carrier. Why? Who knows. Property insurance takes weeks to send it back, MOH won't do anything until information technology's sent dorsum. After months of back and along they finally figure out they overestimated what I would need to bring to closing by THOUSANDS. They have to run an 'analysis' to refund my money. Takes another Month to run this analysis and become the check promising me the check in 15 business organization days. Takes a calendar month, tell them in the concurrently that I oasis't received information technology. They cancel the check and reissue considering information technology took as well long. Receive a cheque two weeks afterward – assume information technology is the reissued check. Eolith information technology….check has a finish pay on it and my bank charges me a fee. Nope, it was the original check….call MOH to find out what is going on, they refuse to reimburse me for any expenses and say their new cheque was reissued Later I chosen them regarding my cancelled check being deposited….then, clearly they messed up again. Every time I speak with them, the customer service representatives don't have any ability, noesis, or autonomy to do annihilation to help me. I speak with the manager and they just shrug me off. It is a constant and consistent boxing every single fourth dimension. I am told, now 7 months after loan endmost and them holding my thousands of dollars in escrow, that my bank check is on the style….will see. I will go out of my way to tell people to steer clear of MOH….the endmost was horrible, I had to pay hundreds in extra expenses, they cost me more coin outside of the loan, they accept horrible communication, don't want to brand anything right, are more worried about their commissions and internal politics, and accept held onto my money for longer than should be legal. Absolutely disgusted at the time wasted and money spent on this organization. Should have simply gone to a competitor.

Poor product, client service & response

We had two term life policies with Common of Omaha (Colorado Springs Agent) for many years. Later meeting with him on a review of our policies he recommended we convert them to what he represented was a whole life policy with long term intendance, with a fixed premium and no expiration. Afterwards several months nosotros discovered our policies were Universal Life Policies with a critical care rider, which could expire at historic period 85. Additionally the premiums were not guaranteed. This was not what nosotros requested nor what was represented.

Due to the misrepresentations and minimizing of the issues, we contacted and met with our agent. He initially argued but then said he understood and best-selling the policy was non a whole life and long term care that we had requested. He said these were products and he did not know everything about them. He said he understood our concerns and forwarded our complaint on to Common of Omaha master office. Their response was initially extremely poor. We did non receive any acknowledgement of the complaint, in that location was no investigation done and no i chosen us. Months went by as nosotros tried to get answers. Mutual promised return calls which we never received. Finally after persistence and discussions with numerous people, the unabridged corporeality of premiums paid, totaling several thousand dollars were refunded and one term life insurance policy was reinstated. This process took over a yr!

After loosing all confidence and trust in Mutual of Omaha, we pursued and obtained another term life policy with some other insurance visitor. Nosotros then began the procedure to abolish the existing term life policy with Common of Omaha. This was besides problematic. Nosotros were told dissimilar things by different representatives about the process to abolish and to obtain a refund of the month premium. This took two months when initially they said ten days.

Nosotros write this review in order to hopefully aid others from getting into the same state of affairs as nosotros experienced. We would suggest anyone purchasing a policy, especially Mutual of Omaha's Universal Life with a critical care writer, have information technology reviewed past some other insurance agent or attorney. Nosotros would never recommend Mutual of Omaha.

Inquired almost life insurance. The agency stated to me for Common of Omaha to insure me I had to cancel all my other life insurance plans. I didn't understand why.

I have Common of Omaha Medicare Supplemental insurance. I have Plan G. I had to be hospitalized for a month. They covered everything they were supposed to and I had no worries. I thank them.

Mutual of Omaha mortgage segmentation is a complete waste of fourth dimension. Unprofessional and total liars. Do not waste matter your time with these jerks. 800+ score, more money in investments than the mortgage amount, and even so denied past stupid so chosen mortgage professionals. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. These imbeciles at MOO exercise not return emails, phone calls, or text messages. All of their staff should be fired.


Mutual of Omaha Mortgage

I but wanted to share my experience with one of your providers. I applied with Common of Omaha on May 19 and have all the same to close. The loan officer was very helpful however, the company didn't follow thru. I am actively employed but on a medical shelter in place. I was lead to believe that was not a problem. I take been employed by a large corporation for 24 years and my not working recently was my option due to a serious health issue. I explained all this and thought we could work it out. I have exceptional credit and an LTV of less than 50% It seemed to not exist an issue and was given a closing date. I received a subsequent email asking for an caption from my employer. Which they will not do and simply like that 2 months of waiting is gone in a glimmer. I merely can't understand how this can happen. I wanted to share my very negative feel with all for time to come reference.

Very poor company all around no communication, bad information, don't return calls. Passed from person to person with getting questions answered and when yous do get someone they don't seem very overnice or interested.
